Our Tours: Whether you are interested in a challenging high-altitude trek, an easygoing cultural tour, a biking tour, or a bird-watching itinerary, we have something to suit your tastes, timeframe, and abilities. All of our itineraries are designed for private tours, meaning that we will not group you together with other tourists. So you can travel solo or bring along a few friends. You decide who will be in your group, and you will have your own guide and transportation. Though we have many preset popular itineraries, please feel free to customize your schedule.
Tour Package Inclusions: All of our tour packages include accommodation, meals, overland transport within Bhutan, sightseeing, a local tour guide, and a supply of pack and riding animals when and where needed for treks. All of our guides are local, and all are licensed and trained by the Department of Tourism in Bhutan. In addition, the guides are fluent in English and thoroughly knowledgeable about all aspects of the country and culture. We pride ourselves on giving personal attention to our guests, and we believe in being friendly and courteous.
Traveling in Bhutan: Bhutan is still a relatively unknown tourist destination, and tourism in Bhutan is highly regulated by the government. If you want to visit Bhutan, you must do so through one of the licensed Bhutanese tour companies. You cannot travel in Bhutan on your own. This policy ensures that when you tour Bhutan, you will be immersed in a culture and environment that have been carefully preserved.
Trekking in Bhutan is a unique and wonderful experience! On our Jumolhari trek you will even have the chance to camp at the base of the second-highest mountain in Bhutan.
